50 Cent took to Instagram today to announce that he is endorsing President Trump for president. The rapper apparently has decided that he would like to keep more than 38% of his dollar.
In a caption on a photo that shows the top tax rates in Biden’s tax plan the rapper wrote, “WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—— mind.” The caption also included several emojis.
The post in question lists over 25,000 replies and while there is some hate, there are many more positive messages that are also in support of President Trump.
50 Cent has gone on the record to criticize Trump in the past, more specifically, his response to the COVID-19 pandemic several months ago. “You wanted a reality show host as president,” said 50. “Well, now you’re on Survivor.”
The tax plan in question only applies to those making more than 400,000 a year which means that the plan would likely affect 50 Cent. 50 has been to a small but growing list of celebrities that have endorsed Trump. The list includes names like Kid Rock, Jon Voight, Roseanne Barr, Kirstie Alley, Scott Baio, James Woods, and several others.
