Well, like othernights, Portland’s daily protest started off peaceful. The Portland Mom’s were on the ground, again providing cover for the Antifa and radical BLM activists who seem hell-bent on causing destruction. At roughly 10:50 PM, the otherwise peaceful protests took a turn for the worse when the crowd of peaceful protesters parted like the red sea, and roughly 50 or so 110 pound little punks dressed in black walked to the front of the Federal Court House and began beating on the doors and attempting to gain entry to the building.
The Portland Mom’s and other less-brazen protesters formed a human riot line complete with shields and idiots. Other protesters, who would be described as “peaceful” if you ask Mayor Wheeler lit the federal building on fire. Federal police officers flanked the group of rowdy protesters, and worked to put out the fire. Protesters are visible throwing water-bottles and other items at the federal officers as they battle the blaze and the crowd. Tear gas and other munitions are used to push back the crowd. When the federal officers retreated back into the building, the group of protesters cheered as they pelted the federal officers with anything they could find.
Protesters and the group of Portland Mom’s, who many believe are radicalized Antifa members (again, why would a Mom have a gas mask) again took up offensive positions on federal property, while more spoiled brats clad in all black started tearing apart the protective walls built to protect the courthouse’s windows. The protesters were able to disassemble about 20 foot of these barriers, forcing the federal officers to come back out, and again, defend the federal building.
For the next hour or two, the police clashed with the protests, making several arrests. Protesters continued to attack the police officers launching anything they could find at them. Protesters launched commercial grade fireworks and what appeared to be improvised explosive devices at the officers. The air was filled with smoke bombs and CS gas. Dozens of flash-bangs could be heard along with the ever-so-piercing sound of these Antifa losers whining about how much their eyes burned (literally all night).
As federal officials retreated into the federal building again, for the third time that night, protesters seemed shift their attention on each other. Throughout the night, violence was documented on camera. A photo-journalist was beaten by the angry mob, and another man was filmed defending himself as he was attacked by multiple punks, again dressed in all black.
Several fire hydrants were opened, flooding local streets as protesters looked to flush their eyes from the chemical spray used by the police to disperse the crowd. Another night in Portland in the books. Only time will tell what the destruction will be like tonight. Day 53 of consecutive riots in Portland.
