At around 7 Pm last night, riot police showed up at a Trump “freedom rally” in Beverly Hills and declared the assembly unlawful and forced everyone to leave the area with the threat of arrest. It is unclear what exactly transpired to get the unlawful assembly declaration.
The Trump Freedom rally is a rally that takes place every weekend for months now. The Rally consisted of hundreds of Trump fans that gather at Roxbury Park.
In the past, counter-protestors have infiltrated the group and cause tensions to be raised and minor scuffles to break out to get the gathering shut down as an unlawful assembly.
This also happened last night when a man carrying an altered flag and shouting obscenities assaulted several people before he was chased out of the park by Trump supporters and into the waiting police line. Video shows a constant stream of “Biden” supporters driving past the Trump rally participants, yelling obscenities and
At one point after the altercation, the group left the area and went for a march in the surrounding areas. The group had walked exactly one block when they found a police line blocking their path, which stopped the march and the officers ordered them to turn around and return to the park as the group started chanting “back the blue.” It is about this time the dispersal order was given.
It is unclear if this altercation, the march, or some other nefarious reason was the cause for the unlawful assembly. One of our reporters on the ground, WYSIWYG, called in to inform PT News Network’s Wake Up America! viewers what was really going on. That interview is below.
In an interesting turn of events, the reporter tells WOA’s host Stephen Oatley about a “new ordinance” in Beverly Hills which would not allow Trump Supporters to have the flag poles they have had for the past seven weeks.
It is worth noting that for months Black Live Matter and others have taken to the streets all across the county. In Beverly Hills, rioting, looting, and sometimes daily protests were allowed to continue with very little police interaction.
While some in the group were upset and yelled at police, the crowd complied with the officer’s orders as opposed to what we have seen with many gatherings around the country this summer. It is not uncommon to see Black Lives Matter/ Antifa protests defy the given orders and start attacking the police officers. That was not the case last night. They complied and cleared out the park with the assertion that they would be back.
