BREAKING: 6 dead, 9 others shot in driveby mass shooting
Six people are dead and at least nine others are injured following an early morning shooting outside a restaurant in Sacramento.
Police were dispatched to the area of the El Santo restaurant in Sacramento just after 2 am Sunday morning for reports of an active shooter. According to witnesses, a gunman opened fire on a crowd outside the restaurant from a vehicle. Police estimate there were over 50 shots fired before the gunman fled in a vehicle.
When police arrived on the scene, they located six people who were fatally wounded. As many as nine others were located in the nearby area suffering from various gunshot wounds.
In another video posted to Twitter, a crowd of people are captured fighting on the street. In the background, there are sounds of automatic gunfire. It is not confirmed that these two incidents are connected.
