Breaking News: President Trump to meet with truckers demonstrating in DC

According to several internal sources, the White House is planning to arrange a meeting between organizers of the demonstrators in Washington, D.C., and the President to discuss the current issues driver’s are facing each and everyday on the road.

According to Shawn McIntosh, one of the organizers of the event, this morning the group was able to speak to Timothy Williams Jr., the Deputy Director in the Office of External Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior along with several staffers. They were told that they were working to handle to paperwork to set up a meeting.

A date or time for the meeting have not been set at the moment, but it is reportedly in the works.

“They have never addressed us on no level,” said one driver on the ground. “This is a history making event today you guys.”
