Update 15:38 est: North & Laramie T-Mobile store being looted
Criminals are actively rioting and looting businesses again today in increasing unrest in the city. Police scanners are telling a horrifying story with small businesses reportedly calling 911 after mobs of criminals continue to attack the city. According to scanner traffic, the rioting and looting is taking place in the west-side of the city around Madison & Pulaski.
Fireworks and rocks are being thrown at responding police officers. SWAT is reportedly using a Bearcat to clear dumpsters and debris rioters are using to block the roadway. One recent 911 call broadcast on the scanner was from members of a church who were afraid to leave due to “roaming gang-members.”
A Boost Mobile store is also apparently under attack on Pulaski and called 911 to tell them the employees were actively defending the store from looters. Another video posted online shows rioters looting the back of a truck.
Police are using teargas to disperse the rioters.
