UPDATED: Denver police announced via twitter the shooter was not an Antifa member, but instead, was a hired security contractor for a local news station. New video has been released which shows the man who was shot and killed in a confrontation with another man when he walks off camera. In the videos, you appear to hear a gun chamber a round, then you hear the sound of a can spraying.
The Denver Post is now reporting that a patriot protester pepper-sprayed a private security contractor, who then pulled his weapon and shot the man dead. While no one really knows how this will end, I know one thing for sure. A patriot was killed.
A patriot protester was shot and killed by a “self-described BLM-Antifa” member at a protest in Denver Saturday, according to an article by the Denver Post.
The shooting, which occurred in the courtyard near the Denver Art Museum, was captured on live video.
A group of patriots were leaving the area having completed their peaceful rally. At the same time, another demonstration, posing as a soup drive was being organized by local, self-described BLM-Antifa. According to witnesses on the scene, as the group of patriots was leaving, a fight broke out. According to the Denver Post, a patriot pulled out pepper spray and another man shot him in the head. Two people have been arrested.
Denver Police tweeted first they were investigating a shooting, and had one suspect in custody, but quickly reported via twitter that they were treating the shooting as a homicide and that not one, but two people had been arrested.
