BREAKING: Reports of multiple people shot, explosions in NYC subway station
UPDATE: A spokesman for the FDNY said multiple undetonated devices were found.
Police are currently investigating what has been reported as an active shooter inside a New York City Subway station.
According to police, there is an active investigation in the area of 36th street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.
Twitter user @IntelPointAlert is reporting that police have confirmed several “explosive devices” are present at the subway station and “several people are down.”
Video from the scene shows a large police presence.
The NYFD has reportedly confirmed that several people have been shot in the area.
One person posted photos of the scene saying he survived a mass shooting.
Another photojournalist posted images of the scene on Twitter.
