COVID origins and safety of COVID-19 vaccinations come under heightened scrutiny
There is a saying in Texas that if you don’t like the weather, give it a minute, and it will change. As a matter of fact, that saying can be applied to just about anything in our fast-paced society, but some things in life should not be subject to the same fast-paced, constantly evolving, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants mentality in our society. At the top of that list, are medical treatments such as vaccines. And yet, we as a globe embraced the breakneck pace of the development and implementation of COVID-19 vaccines.
Not only did we embrace them, but we also forced millions of people to get jabbed or face ostracization from society. And while that in and of itself is bad, even worse was the orchestrated censorship of dissenting thought and labeling of those that dared to pose two questions as right-wing nut cases.
- Where did COVID-19 come from?
- Are the vaccines actually safe and effective?
Let’s start with the first question.
Lots of people held beliefs that the virus was man-made or that it was a bioweapon, and the same could be said for people who believed that the virus really did come from a Chinese wet market and possibly even from bats that were for sale in the wet market.
It is not a crime to believe something or to have a theory. It is human nature to try and explain the world around us. As a matter of fact, those that yelled, “trust the science,” obviously missed the part in science class when they talked about Scientific Hypotheses.
The initial building block in the scientific method, a” hypothesis is an idea or proposition that can be tested by observations or experiments about the natural world. In order to be considered scientific, hypotheses are subject to scientific evaluation and must be falsifiable, which means that they are worded in such a way that they can be proven to be incorrect.”
The basic idea of a hypothesis is that there is no predetermined outcome, so when people were pointing their theories in the direction of the Wuhan Institute of Virology as possible ground zero for the global pandemic, they were shadowbanned, labeled as crazy and even silenced on social media in order to limit their reach.
In May of 2021, I wrote and published an article on Citizen Stringer titled, “COVID natural virus or manufactured in a lab? New study says man-made and that they tried to cover their tracks.”
The article was just reporting about the British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, who wrote a medical journal article claiming that they’ve had primary evidence “of retro-engineering in China” since last year, but were ignored by academics and major medical journals.
The study included accusations of “deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data” at Chinese labs. It notes the scientist who wishes to speak up has been silenced and that some simply disappear.
The study concludes: “the likelihood of it being the result of natural processes is very small.”
Guess what happened after we published that article and shared it on our social media platforms? We were given a strike on Facebook and were told that it was misinformation. We lost monetization for a brief period.
Within days, the mainstream media and even Congress caught up to the publication of the journal article, and fresh demand for answers on the origin of COVID-19 was heard, and President Joe Biden ordered an investigation.
How many of you were silenced on social media for daring to ask tough questions about COVID-19?
ON Jan 11, just two days ago, a group of national security experts published a letter calling out those in the mainstream media who downplayed, ignored, or outright denied the possibility that the COVID-19 virus originated in the Wuhan lab.
“COVID-19 has resulted in the loss of an estimated 15 million lives worldwide to
Date,” the letter begins, “Financial losses are estimated to be in the tens of trillions globally, including at least $16 trillion for the United States alone. It has resulted in untold human suffering, including marked increases in mental health issues, poverty, hunger, substance abuse, and far-reaching detrimental effects on young people around the world.”
“Understanding the origins of the virus is essential to our pandemic preparedness in the future.
From the beginning of the crisis, when the information environment was undoubtedly contentious, divisive, and confusing, some editors and reporters of news organizations and scientific publications stifled debate on the origins of the virus. Some even leveled accusations of racism against those who sought in good faith to investigate whether the virus may have originated from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
The letter, addressed “To the editors, authors, and contributors to major scientific, medical, and
journalistic publications worldwide,” including the Lancet and the New York Times.
The letter was signed by forty-three national security experts, including House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Michael McCaul (R-Texas), former Defense Intelligence Agency acting Director David Shedd, former national security adviser Robert O’Brien, and a host of former State Department and National Security Council officials
Safe and Effective
The other major part of the pandemic saga, the “safe and effective” vaccines.
I can not tell you how many stories of people, young and old who have been injured or killed after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, and for the most part, I was unable to tell their stories.
It was considered misinformation to go against the “safe and effective” narrative even when the data suggested that they were neither safe nor effective. Even after the data began to show that COVID was quickly becoming a “pandemic of the vaccinated.”
Fox News reported today that the CDC is now ready to investigate links between strokes in people who received COVID-19 vaccines.
“The CDC is now saying there have been enough cases of people who have received the vaccine and then suffered a stroke”
More and more doctors are calling for a pause in the mRNA vaccines, including doctors from all over the world after new research shines a light on potential connections between the shots and adverse events.
Dr. Joseph Fraiman, a doctor based in Louisiana who also conducts research on COVID-19 and other health issues, says it’s time to halt the administration of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines until new clinical trials prove the benefits from the vaccines outweigh the harms.
According to the Epoch Times, Fairman claims the new research, including a reanalysis of the trials for the vaccines, raises concerns about whether the benefits from the vaccines outweigh the harms.
“I don’t see how anyone couldn’t be certain that the benefits are outweighing the harms on a population level or even in the high-risk groups. I don’t see the evidence to support that claim,” Fraiman told The Epoch Times. “But I also can’t say that there’s evidence to support that it’s potentially more harmful, but there’s also uncertainty here. … Given that scenario, I believe that people should not be given the [vaccines] outside of a clinical trial, because we need to figure out … if their benefits outweigh harm or if harm outweighs benefits.”
“The only thing that can answer that question is going to be a randomized trial,” he added.
A BBC segment included a consulting cardiologist by the name of Dr. Aseem Malhotra. During a live broadcast, he was reporting on heart disease and the use of a class of drugs called statins that are used to lower cholesterol and may help to lower the chances of a heart attack or even a stroke. Towards the end of his segment, he mentioned that a likely contributory factor to excess cardiovascular deaths is the COVID mRNA vaccines and stated that the rollout should be suspended pending an inquiry.
Some people will say that it’s a good thing that more people are calling out the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, and others will still be mad no matter what. Some will applaud those who are attempting to find the origins of the virus, and some will still call us names for wanting answers. But for far too many, it will be too little, too late.
Too many Americans are suffering from injuries. Too many Americans are mourning the loss of a loved one. Too many American schoolchildren are behind in school. How do you get back a year of education? How many students’ mental health became worse during the pandemic, and are struggling to become healthy young adults?
Sure, we can put a dollar amount on the impact of the virus, but what about the human toll, hearts and minds, that we have not even begun to understand?
