Half-Million Dollar Cargo Heist Thwarted: Trio Arrested in Sparks Surveillance Sting

SPARKS, NV — A multi-agency surveillance operation ended in the arrest of three California men after two semi-truck trailers containing over $500,000 in stolen cargo were recovered in Sparks. The Storey County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), working alongside the Sparks Police Department and the Regional Crime Suppression Unit, tracked the high-value trailers from the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center to an industrial area in Sparks.
