Will a computer repairman be the downfall of Vice President Joe Biden? That is the question many are asking after a bombshell article by the New York Post today.
The Post claimes that they were approached by a computer repairman turned whistleblower. The whistleblower claims to have found a cache of documents, photos, videos, and emails that were on a hard drive that was dropped off for repair in April 2019 that was never picked up. The emails are reported to pertain to Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings. The whistleblower stated that after he discovered the documents, he notified authorities. The FBI seized the laptop.
The whistleblower made a copy of that hard drive before handing it over, and gave the copy to Robert Costello, a lawyer for Rudy Giuliani, who is a personal attorney for President Trump, reportedly also received a copy of the documents.
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee confirmed that it is investigating the newly released emails that reveal that Hunter Biden introduced his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings in 2015 at Hunter’s request.
The senate also confirmed that they have the documents and that they have been in regular contact with the whistleblower.
The Post report revealed that Biden, at Hunter’s request, met with Vadym Pozharskyi in April 2015 in Washington, D.C.
An earlier email from May 2014 also showed Pozharskyi, reportedly a top Burisma executive, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf, the Post reported.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent some time together. It’s realty an honor and pleasure,” the email read.
The meeting took place less than a year from the public statement that then-Vice President VP made about the prosecutor looking into the Burisma corporation.
“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,” Biden infamously said to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.
“Well, son of a b—,” he continued. “He got fired.”
Biden has repeatedly denied that he has ever spoken with his son or any other family member about any of their business dealings. ver
“Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as ‘not legitimate’ and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing. Trump administration officials have attested to these facts under oath,” Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement.
The New York Post has published several of the photos as well as emails. Some of the photos appear to show Hunter Biden engaging in illegal drug use. The New York Post has published several of the photos as well as emails.
This is a developing story, as more information is being released, and the documents are being published.
