
Police ask for public’s help in identifying subject who opens fire on trucker on I-40 in Memphis (VIDEO)
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a blue Saturn Vue after the driver reportedly opened fire on a trucker this weekend on Interstate 40 in Memphis.
According to a press-release, the Memphis Police Department says the trucker was driving on I-40, passing Smith Avenue near the Chelsea Avenue exit when he was shot at multiple times by another motorist. The truckers was struck by gunfire however the trucker was not injured.
The suspects were driving a dark gray or green, small SUV, possibly a newer model Saturn VUE, with a luggage rack on top and what appears to be a temporary license plate on the rear. The suspects were last seen eastbound on I-40 towards the Watkins Rd. exit.
Memphis Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and its occupants by asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-2274.
