Schneider (NYSE: SNDR) announced today a new collaboration with tech provider Blue Yonder to deliver a new carrier marketplace within the Blue Yonder transportation management solution. According to the release, this new dynamic capacity pricing solution provides an integrated and seamless experience for shippers that pairs the power of dynamic pricing and visibility with the reliable, comprehensive solutions of Schneider’s portfolio, with its brokerage division leading the adoption.
Its collaboration with Blue Yonder is the latest example of the commitment Schneider’s brokerage division has recently made to provide more automated and digital experiences. Other recent enhancements include a collaboration with Overhaul, a real-time supply chain visibility and integrity solution, announced last month. This partnership will allow Schneider customers will receive an alert if tracking data identifies a potential disruption, enabling them to quickly take action to mitigate the issue.
Schneider also announced added capabilities from TriumphPay, a payment processing platform for brokers and shippers, and Transflo, a leading business process automation and digital communications provider in April. Combining both TriumphPay’s and Transflo’s expertise into the brokerage platform accelerates transactions and expedites third-party carrier payments.
Using the Blue Yonder dynamic pricing discovery solution, Schneider provides carriers and shippers near real-time matching of price and capacity, along with tracking, that is connected to – and made available on – Blue Yonder’s Luminate™ Platform. Powered by Microsoft Azure, Luminate Platform combines data from both internal and external sources – spanning shippers’ digital supply chain ecosystems – to leverage both artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), enabling smarter and more actionable business decisions.
