Sheriffs Office to Robbers: Don’t mess with truckers……they fight back, Chuck Norris Style
A would-be robber is learning the hard way that truckers will not be victimized. That they fight back. An Arizona man found that out early Tuesday when he attempted to rob a trucker who parked in the shade to eat his lunch.
According to the Sonoma Country Sheriff’s Office, a 35-year old transient from Avondale, Arizona was parked under an overpass when he noticed a trucker stop across the road from him. The would-be robber, Anthony Leuci decided that he would rob the trucker. According to the social media post, Leuci ran up to the unnamed trucker demanding the trucker give him money and threatening to shoot him if he did not comply.
Instead, of getting any money, the would-be robber received two Chuck Norris style kicks to the head, and ran away before the trucker could further defend himself. Police soon swarmed the area and found a vehicle soon after the incident containing Leuci who was positively identified by the driver. The would be robber was then given “an all expenses paid vacation at the Sonoma County Jail,” according to the post.
As a friendly word of advice, the Deputy handling the investigation not-so-politely informed Leuci that he was welcome to not come back after his case had resolved.
