A trucker is in jail following an argument with a dock manager resulting in a shooting at a Pineview, Georgia watermelon farm.
According to the Wilcox County Sheriffs Office, Rocko DiLaurentis, a trucker from Miami, Florida had gotten into an argument with the dock manager and business owner of a watermelon shed.
When he was asked to leave the property be became combative, fighting with the business owner. According to the Sheriff’s release, Dilaudentis reportedly went to his truck and drew a firearm and began threatening to kill the workers.
The business owner reportedly retreived a shotgun and fired into the ground as DiLaurentis began to leave. DiLaudentis then fired from his window several times in the direction of the workers as he pulled away.
He was arrested some time later and is currently being held in the Wilcox County Jail charged with aggravated assault.
